Ways to Redeem Your Capital One Venture Miles
Learn about the various ways you can use your Venture miles
With the Capital One Venture credit card, you can earn unlimited double miles on every purchase you make and 5 miles per dollar on hotels and rental cars booked through Capital One Travel. So whether you paid the dinner bill or ordered a new piece of furniture, you’ve got rewards miles to show for it.
Sure, miles can be used to cover airplane tickets. But even if you aren’t planning a trip, there are other great ways you can redeem your miles. Here are six ways to redeem your miles when you sign in to your Capital One account online.
Cover Your Travel Purchases
Redeem your Venture miles on anything from hotel stays to unforgettable travel experiences with friends and family. You can redeem miles to cover the cost of any travel purchase made with your Venture card within 90 days of the purchase. With enough miles, you could essentially “erase” travel purchases from your most recent trip!1
Share Your Rewards
Have a friend or family member who’s planning an epic trip? If they have a Venture card, you can help them out by transferring your miles to them. You can choose exactly how many of your miles you want to send their way, getting them that much closer to their destination.
Book a Trip
You can search for flights and book through Capital One Travel. Use all those miles you saved up to explore the world—or maybe just make it home to visit the family. Wherever you’re going, plan your next adventure with Venture.
Transfer Miles to Partner Airlines
Capital One lets you transfer your miles to your choice of more than 15 travel loyalty programs. Transferring your miles could give you access to a variety of valuable redemptions, depending on the airline. Have you been dreaming of flying first class? This may be an opportunity to upgrade.
Get Gift Cards
Not planning a trip anytime soon? No big deal. You can redeem your miles for gift cards from merchants such as iTunes, Barnes & Noble, Best Buy and more! Whether it’s for a birthday, graduation or just a fun surprise, turn those miles into a wonderful gift for a loved one—or even for yourself.
Redeem for Cash
Turn those miles you’ve earned into cash in your pocket. You can redeem your Venture miles in the form of a statement credit or a check. You can expect the statement credit to arrive in your account in as few as two to three business days. And checks are mailed within three business days and should arrive two to three weeks later.
Redeem for Exclusive Tickets, Event Access and Perks
With Capital One Entertainment, eligible cardholders can redeem rewards for more than 500,000 events—including VIP packages, on-site perks and more. Whether you’re a sports fan, music lover or foodie, Capital One Entertainment’s got you covered.2
If you’re planning your next expedition—or just trying to get a gift card for someone you love—Venture miles can get you there.

Capital One is not responsible for how merchants assign these codes.
